Piggy back blocks
In some pipe laying operations it is required to have above the larger diameter pipe simultaneously a smaller service pipeline. To ensure that the smaller pipelines are correct supported they can be attached to the main pipeline by using a piggyback block (Clamp system). The purpose of the assembly is to facilitate laying the pipe system. Piggyback blocks are polyurethane or rubber saddles through which the small diameter pipe passes.
The saddle has an axial split on its base to allow easy installation of the smaller pipeline. The rubber saddle and therefore the smaller diameter pipe are then strapped onto the larger diameter pipe by steel, alloy or Kevlar Straps.
All our pipeline piggyback blocks are custom made according to customer requirements. We can supply the rubber only or the full system including the straps and tools.
We have a lot of experience for years in house in producing and supplying piggyback clamping systems. Therefore would it be interesting to help you with new projects or requirements for piggyback clamping blocks.
Advantage of rubber and Polyurethane piggyback blocks:
• Flexible
allows movement and expansion of the secondary pipeline.
• Easy installation
through the axial split in the piggy block.
• Lightweight
operator friendly.
• Delivery time
own production with short lead times.
Pipeline centraliser
To install a number of pipelines within a circle close to each other, has always causes problems for engineers. To prevent the damaging of these pipelines and there coatings when they expanding en touch each other during operational, Ruplatec supply these centralisers in Polyurethane.
We produce these in Polyurethane because it insulate and gives No problems with corrosion in comparison to the steel version.
