Material type: Mica-based gasket (phlogopite or muscovite)
Operating pressure: suitable for medium to high pressure systems
Temperature range: up to +900 °C (depending on mica type and reinforcement)
Mechanical stability: excellent at elevated temperatures
Sealing performance: reliable under extreme thermal conditions
Mica gaskets are designed for high-temperature sealing applications where conventional fibre, PTFE or graphite gaskets are no longer suitable. They are commonly used in exhaust systems, boilers and industrial flanges exposed to extreme heat.
