Tensile Strength: 1.0–3.0 MPa
Elongation at Break: 200–400 %
Compression Set: low (good recovery)
Temperature Range: −40 °C to +120 °C (EPDM sponge)
Resistance: water, weathering, ozone, UV (material dependent)

Sponge rubber is a closed-cell cellular rubber material designed for sealing and compression applications. It provides excellent recovery after compression and is commonly used for gaskets, seals and vibration isolation.
